The collection of folk architecture buildings called the „Hanácké skanzen“ presents the local architecture of the 19th century. This open-air museum consists of a traditionally equipped Haná farmhouse and three unique revealed barns in adjacent gardens.
All the buildings in the museum are immovable cultural monuments equipped with the rural contents of the house from the period 1799-1950. The guided tours are supplemented by traditional days of clay architecture and interactive shows of traditional harvesting and threshing, when visitors can try their hand at these common tasks of country people.
In summer and at Christmas, the museum organises fairs of traditional crafts, concerts etc. The original grain barns above the residential spaces are adapted as cosy galleries offering up to 4 exhibitions every year to emphasise the special atmosphere of this place.
