Jewish cemetery in Úsov

The first Jewish cemetery in Úsov existed as early as the mid-15th century.

The tombstone of Rabi Don Zapataire de Avalos - Kalonymos Ha-Kohen from 1480 survived from this cemetery and was transferred to the new cemetery. The oldest of the nearly one thousand tombstones date to the year of the founding of the cemetery and from the second half of the 17th century. These include outstanding examples of Baroque and Classicist works.
