The church, together with the castle, are part of the unique Baroque complex of buildings.
The gem of the temple is the altar that dates back to the beginning of the 18th century and contains carvings shaped as like a spread baldachin. Giovanni Tencalla was most probably the architect of the building, and St. Libor Church was supposed to be a simplified version of Tencalla's unrealized project for the Jesuit church of Our Lady of the Snows in Olomouc.
