Such a "babyfriendly" locality is the surroundings of the largest Moravian peat bog. If you are at least a little familiar with the Jesenice mountains, you already have a good idea that we want to invite you to the Rejvíz National Nature Reserve. Thousands of years ago, a highland peat bog was created in this very specific Jesenice plateau, whose Great Moss Lake is one of the most visited places in the Jeseníky Mountains. A less than two-kilometer-long nature trail leads to the black surface of the lake, which reflects the silhouettes of the surrounding spruces and mudflats. And this is where the smallest tourists can playfully handle.
The beginning of the route is at the famous pension Rejvíz. However, don't get used to its attractions right at the start and leave its excellent cuisine, sitting on carved chairs with portraits of regulars, an indoor pool or a brand new outdoor swim until the end. However, be careful from the beginning of the route, as you can see rare cranes or rattlesnakes on the surrounding meadows. The first roughly a kilometer and a half of the way leads along a standard forest path. Here you can make the route more pleasant for children by building a house for elves. Believe that you will come across more than one on the way. Then a hata sidewalk will appear in front of you among the trees with a field station of the nature ranger and a cash register, where a symbolic contribution to the restoration of the sidewalk will be collected. You may also take a small souvenir or a few interesting things from a quirky treasurer and sidewalk administrator in one person. Don't worry, you can manage a hut sidewalk less than half a kilometer long, possibly with a pram.
Then soak up the local energy and peace by the mossy lake. Observe the dragonfly roar or the graceful movement of the snake on a dark surface. If you dare, look with a keen eye on the banks of a carnivorous sundew or tell children mythical stories about the shepherd Gill. Or, for example, like us on the way to the lake, you will meet Emperor Joseph II himself. with his wife. Then maybe your little girls will walk even happier on the hata sidewalk, which was built for princesses who did not want to get their beautiful clothes on their way to the lake.
If you manage this family hike, you can finally succumb to the named attractions of the Rejvíz guest house, or walk to the Orlí vrch farm, for example through the picturesque Rejvíz, delight the children with a look at the pets around and saturate your stomachs with local specialties.
