Zlosin Brewery is located in the village of Velké Losiny. Already in the time of Jan the Younger from Žerotín, when the local estate was formed by a water fortress, there is talk of a mill and a brewery. The first documented mentions of the chateau brewery of the local estate are 400 years old, from the reign of Prince Lichtenstein.
Nearby, in neighboring Sobotín, is the Sobotín Chateau Mini Brewery. Albert beer is brewed here, referring to the former industrialist Albert Klein. The beer itself is made from the best that our country can give us: Satu Mare hops, Moravian malt and water that flows to us directly from the heart of the Jeseníky Mountains.
Perhaps the longest history is the Kolštejn Mini Brewery, which can be found in the background of the Kolštejn Restaurant in Branná. Today's restaurant has had the right to bar beer for almost 700 years. Light and semi-dark lagers are brewed here, and there are also beer specials depending on the season. You can also taste the local beers during the tasting associated with a guided tour.
One of the youngest mini-breweries in the Jeseníky Mountains, the Cestář family brewery, is very popular in neighboring Ostružná. In addition to excellent beers, he is also known for club concerts by prominent and distinctive music performers.
The Jeseník Lichtwitz Mini Brewery, located in the former town brewery, continues the old burgher brewing right in Jeseník. He also relies on traditional procedures in the Hasič brewery in Bruntál. You can enjoy the local beer of the same name in the stylish building of the former fire station. Those interested will take them directly to the factory, and if you want an extraordinary experience, it also offers a special program called Become a Brewer for a Day at the Hasič Mini Brewery.
In 2015, thanks to the brewing industry, part of the former famous textile factory Karnola in Krnov came to life. You can not only taste the local Nachmelena Monkey properly, but also book an excursion to its wars and tanks.
