The National Nature Reserve Rejvíz, famous for its moss lakes, invites everyone to visit the nature trail of the same name. The local peat bogs were created in the Ice Age 6-7 thousand years ago and are unique in the Jeseníky Mountains and the largest in Moravia. They were formed in a shallow basin into which water flows from the surrounding slopes. Rejvíz boasts especially unique natural species, most of which are rare or protected, and the people here breathe the cleanest air not only in the Jeseníky Mountains, but perhaps in the whole Czech Republic.

The starting point of the nature trail is at the Rejvíz guesthouse, from which it leads along the yellow trail towards Bublavý potok. At the field station, you have to pay a symbolic fee for maintenance and only hikers can continue along the hut trail to the Large Moss Pond. Along the way, they will get acquainted with the inhabitants of the local flora (carnivorous round-leaved sundew, cranesbill, blueberry, marsh swarm) and animal kingdom (shadbush, blueberry yellowhammer, marsh harrier, Carpathian mockingbird and various species of spiders).

The moss pools are accessible from May to October and, as the peat bogs suffer greatly from trampling, it is strictly forbidden to enter the entire area of the Rejvíz Nature Reserve outside the marked paths and areas. Rejvíz is the second most visited tourist attraction in the Jeseníky Mountains after Praděd.
