Lipník nad Bečvou is magical

The trip starts in Lipník nad Bečvou at the train reservoir. From there, follow the red tourist trail which will take you through the town centre - we recommend you make sure to explore the centre, Lipník boasts a town conservation reserve, a meditation garden and you will also find the old Jewish cemetery and synagogue.

The majestic Helfštýn - guardian of the Moravian Gate

From Lipník, the red trail will lead you through Týn nad Bečvou to Helfštýn Castle, one of the largest castles in Central Europe, famous for its permanent exhibition of blacksmithing and the Hefaiston international competition of artistic blacksmiths. After a tour of the castle and refreshments in the castle restaurant, follow the red forest path past the Hubertus hunting lodge to the Maleník resting place and on to the Nad Jezírky crossroads.

Treasures of the Hranice Karst

At the crossroads Nad Jezírky turn right on the green light, which will take you through the Mariánské údolí to Teplice nad Bečvou. In Teplice nad Bečvou, don't miss a visit to the Zbrašovské aragonite caves with their unique decoration made of the mineral aragonite and spaces that are permanently filled with carbon dioxide at the lowest level. And then you will find not only a Czech, but also a world unique: The Hranice Abyss, which is the deepest flooded abyss in the world. The depth of the abyss is 289.5 m, but the bottom of the abyss has not yet been reached.

A little relaxation is not a bad thing

After the trip, you can relax in the spa Teplice nad Bečvou, which is known for its treatment of heart and circulatory diseases. The green sign will lead us over the colonnade bridge over the Bečva River to the end of our route: the train station Teplice nad Bečvou.
