The Hanušovice - Olomouc section offers 86 km of rafting, 31 weirs, 9 of which are navigable. The length of the river allows for several options of rafting from one day to four days. It offers different levels of difficulty - in the section Hanušovice - Postřelmov, the Morava is faster, reaching a difficulty of up to WW1. Further on, the flow becomes calmer and reaches the maximum difficulty of ZWC (Flowing Water). The Morava is a bit slower than the other Czech rivers. Meanders slow down the navigation and in some sections you may encounter fallen trees. There are also many weirs, some of which can be navigated if there is a lack of water in the main channel.
From Mohelnice to Olomouc, the Morava River flows through the dominant area of the paddling trail, which is the Litovelské Pomoraví Protected Landscape Area, where it is necessary to respect the rules of paddling. In the Litovel - Hynkov section it is possible to float on the main Morava river only in the period from 1.AUGUST to 31 MARCH. It is then possible to sail around this section on the so-called "Little Water". In the section from the weir in Hynkov to Olomouc, only the Mlýnský Brook is used. Rafting on the main stream is forbidden in this section.
