It is one of the oldest documented caves in Central Europe, the first mention of it dates back to 1430. Over 400 m long labyrinth of passages and fissures often served as a shelter in ancient times, as evidenced by numerous inscriptions on the walls. The current tour route, which is 220 m long, has been adapted for wheelchair access.

You will experience an unusual feeling when you realize that you are walking through spaces created in Devonian marbles, which are an incredible 350-380 million years old. The corridors have a characteristic heart-shaped profile that has been breathed into them by the meltwaters of the glacier.

The cave is located less than 10 km from Jeseník (direction Supíkovice, border crossing with Poland Velké Kunětovice). You can park right next to the caves.

In Jeseník it is definitely worth visiting the Water Fortress and especially the Exposition of Witch Trials. A great choice is also a visit to the unique Balneopark in the area of Priessnitz Spa.
