Týn nad Bečvou

The largest international meeting of artistic blacksmiths in Europe.

The meeting is traditionally held on the last weekend in August at Helfštýn Castle, which for a few days turns into a literal mecca of blacksmithing. Master blacksmiths from all over the world traditionally come to Helfštýn and visitors have a unique opportunity to admire their skill at work. The blacksmiths work in the open air at several workplaces.

Many of their works will remain in the castle or decorate the town of Lipník nad Bečvou, where the castle is located. You can also admire the works from previous years at the castle and in the town. The open forges, the ringing anvils and the omnipresent smoke all leave visitors with a deep impression and amazement at what can be made from iron. There is also a rich accompanying programme.
