Lipník nad Bečvou

The Lipník nad Bečvou Municipal Monument Reserve was declared in 1989. There are only two in the Olomouc Region: Olomouc (the second largest in the Czech Republic) and Lipník nad Bečvou.

The historic core of the town is defined by a belt of walls on the territory of a relatively regular circle with an orthogonal network of streets. In addition to the townhouses, this area includes the Church of St. James the Greater with the rectory, the bell tower, the synagogue, the town hall, St. Joseph's Chapel, the post office building and the walls themselves. Adjacent to the north side of the town core is the cemetery area with St Peter's Chapel.
