From the point of view of landscape and historical value, it is the most valuable town park in Central Moravia and ranks among the most valuable parks in the whole of the Czech Republic.

The park, situated near the town centre, is a pleasant place of rest and relaxation for the whole family. It was declared a historic landmark in 1992. Inside the park are sculptural works representing renowned Přerov natives, hundreds of wooded species as well as a new children's playground.
