Spa renowned for its success in treating skin diseases, obesity and diabetes. The origins of the spa are intrinsically linked to the name of its founder Johann Schroth (1798 - 1856), who founded the spa in 1829.

It is a spa with a long tradition in the treatment of metabolic and skin diseases, obesity, thyroid diseases, fat and sugar metabolism disorders, and all non-infectious chronic forms of skin diseases. For psoriasis, it also treats its dreaded complication - joint involvement.

The spa treats not only adults, but also children from the age of 3. For self-payers, it offers the possibility of treatment with the original Schroth treatment.

The museum in the railway station Horní Lipová presents the entire history of the Hanušovice - Jeseník line, which is called the Silesian Semmering because of its numerous curves and considerable elevation.
