The brewery builds on the history of tvarůžky and beer production in Velké Bystřice, where Olomouc tvarůžky was commonly produced in the past.

Tvargle and beer go together

Good news for all lovers of Olomouc tvarůžky - since 2021 they have been produced not only in Loštice, but also in Velké Bystřice under the time-tested and well-worn name Tvargle. Tvarůžky are, of course, made according to original recipes and from local ingredients.

The Tvarg microbrewery was opened in Velké Bystřice a year earlier (2020) and produces not only classic lager, but also top-fermented beers such as IPA and ALE.

Visitors can also use the restaurant, complete with a pleasant summer garden in the summer.

And where can you find the brewery?

In the restored, listed brewery cellars in the neighbourhood of Bystřice Castle. The production technology for the famous cheese with its unmistakable aroma is installed here, as well as the Tvarg microbrewery, which you can visit on a guided tour and, of course, taste. Excursions are held regularly every Saturday during the season, they are combined with tastings, you can also take part in a beer brewing course. By prior appointment, the excursion is possible at any time.
