You are here:
Bělá pod Pradědem

Moving almost silently through the snowy mountain landscape has its indescribable charm. Cross-country skiing in the highest Moravian mountains has, of course, its high sporting value. By riding according to your ability and taste, you can reach even the most backward places of the mountains or even the peaks of the Jeseníky Mountains.

You will visit renowned winter resorts and remote locations shrouded in mythical legends - Praděd, Králičák, Červenohorské sedlo, Kouty nad Desnou, Kunčice or Ramzová - these are just some of them. In the Jeseníky Mountains you can ride on groomed cross-country ski trails, of which there are about 300 kilometres. Don't be in a hurry when you set off on them. You can spend the night in several picturesque mountain chalets. The Jesenická magistrála is a pulsating artery - a route approximately 114 kilometres long, which leads through the most beautiful parts of Králický Sněžník and Hrubý Jeseník. The route starts in Lower Moravia, runs through Kladské sedlo, Paprsek, Ramzovské sedlo, Keprník, Červenohorské sedlo, Švýcárna, Praděd, Skřítek saddle towards Hraběšice and ends in Vikýřovice near Šumperk.

What is the track and what are the snow conditions you can find out at www.jdemenabezky.cz.

Some of the starting points for downhill skiing or cross-country skiing can also be easily reached by SKIbus.
